"Treating Arthritis the Drug-Free Way" is a book explaining Margaret Hills, SRN, natural approach to arthritis. The book is published by Sheldon Press and available in UK book shops and libraries as well as direct from Margaret Hills Clinic - see website www.margarethillsclinic.com. I hope this is helpful.

Hello! There is an American Chiropractor called Dr John Bergman who offers sound medical/biological information weekly on youtube. Over the years he has posted a number of his talks on rheumatoid arthritis, all the way to curing it, so worth checking out. He presents in a very relaxed way and breaks all the information down so it is easy for even someone like me to understand!! I've found all his presentations very helpful indeed. Best wishes!

Thanks Sophy. I think the hardest part is trying to convince her to go alternative rather than have her body pumped full of chemicals. She has never tried anything other than conventional medicine through fear and brainwashing I think. I will try. Thanks for your reply. X

Has she tried any alternative therapies? I would suggest she needs a complete MOT starting with lifestyle changes. the source could be a build up of many things so a qualified practitioner is the place to start. most alternative practitioners will have their own tried and tested ways of approaching RA. Id suggest finding someone close by if possible (easier for support and getting there)who comes reccommended as dealing with this condition. A Nutritionist (not a dietician!!), for dietry advice, acupuncture for the pain (they can operate without using anaesthesia using acupuncture- v good for pain relief ) homeopathy for holistic health and some gentle yoga to keep the joints moving. Hope this is some help, good luck.

hi, I am wondering if anyone can suggest anything for severe rheumatoid arthritis. My mum has had this awful disease for over 30 years and has just about exhausted any other medication options. She has been taken off all medication except for awful steroids and opiates due to having double pneumonia caused by Methotrexate. She has the disease everywhere as well as fibromyalgia and osteoporosis... she is currently experiencing and excruciating flare up whilst she waits for her last option which is a biological drug that will be infused every 6 weeks or so? Desperate for help. Can anyone advise anything....PLEASE. Thanks in advance x
